Possessive Forms 

Possessive Forms คือ รูปต่างๆของคำแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของ
ซึ่งในภาษาอังกฤษมีหลายรูป ดังนี้

1.  Possessive Adjectives คือ คำแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของที่ใช้ประกอบหน้าคำนาม 
                 ได้แก่  my, your, his, her, its, their, our

2. Possessive Pronoun คือ คำแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของที่ใช้แทนคำนาม 
                  ได้แก่ mine, yours, his,hers, its, theirs, ours

3. Possessive Form of Noun คือ คำแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของของคำนาม ซึ่งมี 2 รูป คือ

     1) of เป็นคำที่ใช้แสดงความเป็นเจ้าของสำหรับคำนามที่ไม่มีชีวิต เช่น                       

               The legs of the table                        The back of the class          

      2) ‘s เป็นรูปที่ใช้แสดงความเป็นเจ้าของ ของคำนามที่เป็นสิ่งมีชีวิต เช่น

               Dang’s bookthe cat’s tail               

               ถ้านามข้างหน้าลงท้ายด้วย s ให้เติมแต่ ‘ เท่านั้น เช่น                       

               Those tourists’ bus                        The boys’ toys
